Founded in Port-au-Prince in 2013, Manoumba Records is an initiative and partnership aimed at supporting Haitian musicians and their local communities. Working with established and aspiring artists alike, our primary commitments lie in cultivating collaborations with our musical colleagues in ethical, reciprocal, and sustainable ways, while creating opportunities for making music across all genres. All proceeds from our projects are directly reinvested in our partner communities, by:

·       Mobilizing resources for the safeguarding and celebration of cultural heritage;

·       Supporting research and educational programs relating to Haitian and Caribbean culture;

·       Publishing educational multi-media materials on Haitian music; and

·       Promoting new artistic creations.
